Concrete and Cedar Masterpice
Arhaus has recently finished a house designed by Dorrington Architects & Associates. The house was built by pouring in-situ concrete walls and sitting a cedar pavilion on top (pictures to come). The construction used some interesting construction techniques. The walls were cast using a shutter system brought in from Germany, while the slab was poured last so that the aluminium window sills could be cast perfectly into the slab.
